If you must dwell, dwell on the positive - A valuable new lesson for little wonderers
The fifth and final book in the Willow the Wonderer series has arrived. It conveys what is perhaps the most important life lesson I've learnt that transformed the quality of my life, relationships and wellbeing: If you must dwell, dwell on the positive.

I've blogged about this in detail a few weeks ago - Here's a snippet that speaks to how we bring it to life in this latest Willow the Wonderer Book:
" ... This is where proactively focusing the mind (i.e. meditating) on memories that have a positive charge tends to be the most transformative. These are typically memories where we experienced love, kindness or gratitude of any kind. As my recent experience goes to show, even engaging in the expressions of joy from others can change the state of one's mind ..."

FAQ: My child is having difficulties learning to read. Can picture books help?
Yes, picture books are great for children - of all ages - who are still learning to read or having some difficulties mastering the skill. Picture books have a low overall word count of between 500 to 1000 words, spread over 26-32 pages. This makes it possible for even beginners to work their way through the entire book in one sitting, which great for boosting their confidence in reading. Willow the Wonderer picture books are especially helpful for learning to read as they are written in rhyme. This teaches young children a critical skills in reading - phonics, the sounds combination of letters make. The illustrations in picture books also help children step away from the difficult task of deciphering alphabets and sounds to appreciating something that comes naturally to all humans - Art. Illustrations aid not only with comprehension but can also help kids guess unfamiliar words. This again, is…

We now have a FAQ section
There are some common questions about reading and picture books that keeps coming our way - so we thought why not have a FAQ to save everyone the trouble. When you get a moment, have a look through our new FAQ collection of blogs - we had to write a blog because even seemingly simple question like age recommendation require nuance. If you have expertise in a particular area and want to provide additional perspective to add to any of these questions (e.g. questions around reading) feel free to leave a comment in the blog.

Where do insights in our Willow the Wonderer stories comes from?
The insights we share in our Willow the Wonderer series is drawn from our lived experience of life and the many ups and downs that we have had to navigate - as well the more structured studies and practices we have done to fathom our mind!
I share one such retreat I did in a forest retreat near Bellingen that helped consolidate my understanding of the nature of mind - and see for myself if what all these contemplatives, philosophers and yogis have been saying/writing about was true ...
It is these insights and learnings that I draw upon when writing Willow the Wonderer books. We share more about our inspirations and creative process in the full episode so head to our YouTube channel or podcast page if interested to learn more.

A new record?
Our motto is that "it's never too early to plant seeds of wisdom" - and this has to be a new record!
We are chuffed to be supporting the month long #readathon at the Royal Hospital for Women's Newborn Care Centre in Randwick, where they care for sick and premature babies from all over the state.
#Reading helps with brain development even at that tender stage - and is something parents are actively encouraged to do.
Shoutout to RN Jane Healy for helping source the books for her families - no doubt in her own time. Wishing a lifetime of wonder, wisdom & joy for your little charges.

Don't give up on storytime...
"New research from HarperCollins UK, however, has found the number of parents reading aloud to children is at an all-time low.
Fewer than half of parents of children under 13 said reading aloud to children was “fun for me”, while fewer than half of 0- to 4-year-olds are read to frequently."

Of all the things busy parents could be de-prioritising, #BedtimeStories shouldn't be one of them ...
My hot tip: If the books that you are reading feel boring, try looking for titles that have been developed with the long suffering parent in mind e.g. (plug incoming) our "Willow the Wonderer" series.
Threaded within our 'kids' books' are seeds of wisdom and metaphors specifically for the grown-up in the room so that they too may get enjoyment and learning out of the experience - even if it is the 100th time they are reading the book out aloud!

How an Assignment Helper Can Transform Your Academic Confidence
College routines continue to grow more demanding, with students handling classes, part-time jobs, internships, and personal responsibilities at the same time. As deadlines stack up, many learners start searching for reliable academic support that can guide them through complex assignments without adding extra pressure. This is where the idea of getting expert assistance becomes not only helpful but also confidence-boosting.
How an Assignment Helper Makes Studies Less Stressful
Students often look for someone who can simplify tough topics, break down instructions, and offer clear direction when they feel stuck. That’s where an assignment helper from Myassignmenthelp.services becomes helpful, especially for students who want clarity instead of confusion. With growing academic expectations, many learners prefer structured guidance that allows them to stay organized and complete their tasks on time. When expert support is available, the entire study process feels more manageable, even during peak assignment seasons.
Personalized Guidance That Fits Different Learning Styles
Every student learns differently. Some need visual explanations, others prefer step-by-step instructions, and a few require continuous motivation. A professional helper understands these variations and customizes the support accordingly. This personalization removes the frustration that often comes with one-size-fits-all solutions. Whether it’s understanding essay formats, solving technical questions, or outlining research papers, tailored guidance makes academic work easier to digest.
Better Time Management for Busy Schedules
Time is one of the biggest challenges for college students. Packed lectures, project submissions, and personal commitments leave very little space to plan assignments ahead. Expert guidance can help students divide their workload, set priorities, and avoid last-minute stress. With proper time planning, learners feel more in control and can submit well-structured assignments without rushing.
Improved Understanding of Difficult Topics
Some subjects look simple on the surface but become confusing once students dive into the details. Instead of struggling alone, guided support helps break down complex ideas into smaller, understandable parts. This approach makes learning more meaningful and reduces the fear that often comes with difficult subjects. Over time, students develop stronger foundational knowledge and feel more confident tackling similar topics in class.
Reduced Academic Pressure and More Confidence
Academic pressure is real. Many students worry about grades, deadlines, and whether their work is good enough. With professional guidance, a lot of this stress softens. When students receive clear instructions and understand how to structure their assignments, their confidence grows naturally. They begin to approach tasks with a positive mindset instead of feeling overwhelmed.
Stronger Writing Skills for Long-Term Growth
Good writing plays a major role in college success. Whether it’s an essay, case study, or research task, students are expected to present ideas clearly and professionally. Quality guidance not only helps with current assignments but also improves long-term writing habits. Students learn how to create proper outlines, improve grammar, and develop a more polished writing style. These skills stay useful far beyond college life.
