Hardback edition of Willow the Wonderer, our beautiful picture book about the search for happiness that also engages the little ones in counting.

Willow the Wonderer is an enchanting series of picture books about the search for happiness. Written in rhyme with beautiful illustrations, the picture books plant seeds of wisdom and make early childhood learning effortless.

This is the first book in the series where we meet our young here Willow, an adorable little donkey in a '70s onsie who sets off on a quest to find happiness.

He visits many wonderous places and discovers many marvellous creatures - but the happiness he was looking for eludes him. As he reflects on his day he has an epiphany - and finally understands the nature and source of happiness.

The rhymes and illustrations work together in the picture book to engage young readers to seek out all the creatures hidden in their landscape. In the process, they learn to count up to fifteen.

The story also plants a seed of age-old universal wisdom on happiness; a seed we hope blossoms with time and guides our young readers in their journey through life.

Willow the Wonderer picture books are written by Australian children's author, Reeta Dhar, and illustrated by Australian illustrator, Darren Pryce :

'We wanted to write stories that plant seeds of wisdom in young minds; seeds that will hopefully blossom with time and guide our young readers in their journey through life. We also wanted the books to make early childhood learning effortless. But mostly, we wanted to create beautiful stories that the little ones (and big ones) simply fall in love with. These are stories we wish we'd grown up with'.
