We can absolutely ship books and other gifts to your little ones overseas. This will not only save you time and hassle of going to the Post Office, but also save you up to 35% on postage, as we pass on all our savings to you. Read the blog below to know just how fast, easy and cost effective it is to ship gifts overseas with us and a few little details you need to keep in mind.

Enjoy fast delivery, worldwide

We ship to almost all locations world wide - that has a shipping service!

We use Australia Post's international standard shipping service that delivers between 5-10 business days to most metro locations around the world.

Click on the link to get an accurate estimate of the shipping times for the country that you are sending to (and to double check that the service has not been suspended, etc). Also remember to factor in delays that are bound to occur during peak periods like Christmas.

It's easy to get your parcels shipped overseas

To ship your parcel to an overseas address, Simply enter the overseas address as the 'shipping destination'. The appropriate postage cost will be displayed on screen. Checkout as per usual and we will take care of the rest.

Make sure to add your own address as the 'billing address' and include a note during checkout that specifies that 'this is a gift'. This allows us to fill the paperwork for customs correctly and potentially reduces any customs and tariffs charges for recipients.

We pass on our discounts so you save on shipping

Apart from saving time and hassle of going to the Post Office, you also save on postage when you ship directly with us. This is because we pass on the full discount on shipping that we get from Australia Post (on our business account). The shipping rates you are receiving on our website will always be cheaper than what you can get from Australia Post directly.

Saving can be considerable e.g. here's the discounts that we apply on the standard shipping rates:

35% for New Zealand (Plus free shipping for $150+ orders)
23% for US and Canada
18% for UK and Europe
18% for Asia Pacific
15% for the rest of the world

The US is a special case ...

Things have become a lot more complicated when it comes to shipping to the US.

Please know that books are exempt from all tariffs. You can buy and send as many books to the US and not pay a cent of Trump's tariffs.

So if sending gifts to the US with us, we recommend sticking to Books and Book Sets.

Gift Sets and Toys are likely to attract a very large tariff. We'd also need to do an onerous amount of admin to collect and prepay these - and frankly, we have better things to do with our life than deal with Trump's admin ...

So please do not order toys or gift sets for shipping to the US. We will not be able to fulfil it.

For clarity, we are OK to send these to every other country.

Gift wrapped and ready to go

We already wrap all our parcels beautifully and are happy to include a note. Just mention what you want to say during checkout in the 'notes' section. And not to worry, we don't include invoices in our packaging.
