The Guardians

They are avatars of the status quo, leaders from every walk of life; religion, politics, economics, social stations, sciences, all of culture. They were immutably egocentric and did not want change, but now having been caught in an eternal timeless loop, they yield to teach us the error of their ways, and therefore ours, for they are us.”
