Our first 'Willow the Wonderer' story-time with the Crescent Head Playgroup

The Macleay Argus covered our first ever 'Willow the Wonderer' story-time with the beautiful community at the Crescent Head Playgroup a few weeks ago.
We loved our day with the playgroup. After all, you never really know if your picture book is any good until you read it aloud to children.

It was with great delight that we welcomed the shipment of the first print run of Willow the Wonderer to our shores at the beginning of July! To our dismay it coincided with the arrival of the 'Delta Variant' of COVID into Sydney ... which we are effectively locked out from!
Whilst Reeta's mum and dad graciously received the delivery for us, due to the risk of transmission posed by even casual contact with essential services staff, we have decided to delay the shipment of our books till after the lockdown. Let's hope it will be soon.

Darren took a non traditional approach to the portrait, portraying Brittany Higgins in the much anticipated meeting with the Prime Minister, Scott Morrison.
